I agree that patience is the key here. In no way am I saying my son is a saint (who is?), but we jsut didn't give in to his bad behavior. There were a few things that it really took a lot of time and trouble to address, but dealing with those issues stopped the progression of them becomng bigger issues of training him ways to "get what he wanted" out of us.
