Default Re: electronic fertility monitor

There are some popular fertility monitors out there like the LadyComp and Clearblue. The LadyComp will only measure your basal body temperature and it will tell if you are fertile on that day. The Clearblue uses your basal body temperature and your urine tests to determine your fertility during the menstrual cycle.

One discouraging factor about these devices is that they are quite spendy. They range from $100 to as much as $700 But the good thing about the high upfront cost is that these monitors last for many years. The LadyComp is around $500 and is said to last as long as 10 years.

Keep in mind that these monitors are not designed for every woman. Women that have menstrual cycles that is longer than 35 days may not be able to use these. They are designed for women with regular cycles between 23 and 35 days.

As always, please consult your physician
