Default Re: 10 Things That Might Surprise You About Being Pregnant

I definitely agree that anything that feels uncomfortable or just "wrong" should be mentioned to your doctor immediately. My pregnancy was going fine or so I though when in my sixth month I began to get very large and retaining fluid. I didn't think it was normal and called my doctor. The nurse kept telling me it was normal to retain fluid and get a little swollen and that my next appointment wasn't for another week. But I insisted I had to come in the next day. That was a Wednesday. I had my son pre-maturely by Monday. I suffered from pregnancy-induced hypertension. It was very traumatic for me and my son but we came through it. Always speak your mind to the doctors and nurses and never let them tell you if something is normal or not. If you don't feel normal then go with your gut feelings.
