Yikes! That does sound painful! WIth my first, it was not-just-morning sickness and then really bad eclampsia... with my second, it was back pain! Lots of back pain.
Pregnancy can really mess with your bladder as well . It is one of the things that gets pressed on the most as the baby grows.
