Default Re: screaming toddler

With this problem, I remember the story of Helen Keller, the deaf, mute and blind who became famous because despite her disabilities, she was able to do more than normal people can do. In the movie that we watched about her, she was also screaming a lot and having tantrums when she was a child, and this is because she wasn't understood and she just doesn't know how to express her feelings. Another factor was that her parents and the people in the house don't know how to handle her, they give in to whatever she wants just to avoid any trouble.

I believe that you have to ask somebody to check on your child. I don't understand why a one year old child would keep on screaming for no reason at all unless she has been used to getting what she wants everytime she screams. She might be special, just hoping she's not. Many special children don't know how to express themselves. Whatever the cause of this, definitely, there is also a need for behavior modification strategies.
