We've been traveling with Alex since he was about 3 weeks old, so he does pretty well. I will say he doesn't sleep as well somewhere else (usually gets up earlier and is harder to get down for naps), and he usually catches up once he gets home by sleeping longer for a few days in a row. We always use his pack n play when we travel and I got a mattress for it from Babies r Us that seems to help him sleep better as well.
