A review on Nov. 25 about Matthew Eck?s ?Farther Shore,? a novel set in Somalia, misstated the service affiliation of 18 United States military personnel who died trying to capture the warlord Mohammed Farrah Aidid in Mogadishu in 1993. They were Army Rangers and Delta Force commandos, not marines.
