Default Any tips for blocked ducts?

Argh. I've come down with some blocked ducts in my one breast. I have a warm compress on it. When I feed the baby I lay down while feeding her from that breast and massage the hardened area. Any other tips?

Well, I managed to get it worked out. I always seem to get it in the same breast in the same spot. It took me a whole afternoon and evening of hot compresses, massage, nursing, and hot baths, but I did it!

Warm compresses, encourage nursing, and express milk between feedings.

Also, I highly recommend The Nursing Mother's Problem Solver by Clare Martin to every nursing mother.
