I just picked things out of the air that I liked. My first son's name is Elric, which is half from a fantasy novel and half from the germanic Ulrich. I just like how it sounds. My second is Aiden, and I just liked how that sounded too (and I thought I was being unique - this was before it became so popular) I always liked vowel names.
