Isn't it funny how most of us remember the exact time? And we never
forget, my mom still knows the times for all five of us. I'm mentioning this
because of what you said... because my daughter was 8:54, too.. only
a.m.

In the 11-14 hour range. My body seems to get better at it each time.

I also have a history of "early labor" and pre-term labor contractions.

Well, it took me four hours to realize I was in labor (I was two weeks early and it was my first). I just thought I was feeling sick and had to go to the bathroom.

I probably went into labor at about 4:00pm and baby was born at 12:45 am.

I live 2.5 hours from the hospital we wanted to deliver at and needless to say, we didn't go there. We went to the closest town where they do deliveries (our hospital is not equipped) by ambulance. We pulled over once thinking I may deliver in the ambulance but we made it to the hospital. Whew! What an experience.

I do remember the exact times I had my kids. Strange, because my first was at 9:18 am - after being induced at 7:00ish, and the second was at 9:20 pm.
