Default When did u feel your baby move for the first time?

Hi. I am 13weeks pregnant now and I had some bleeding earlier in the pregnancy. I started feeling my baby move somewhere during the 10th week and I mistook it for contractions. So everytime I felt the baby move I would go and lie down. Sometimes I was almost in tears when that feeling wouldn't disappear even after resting. Only about a week ago I knew it for what it was. I had a scan done and my baby was throwing somersaults in my tummy.

It's easy to confuse your baby moving with gas bubbles and the like. It's definately not like contractions, though, which are more cramp-like and usually hurt. (Braxton Hicks contractions later in the pregnancy don't really hurt) Of course with the bleeding I would be scared, I had bleeding with my first.

I first felt this little one moving at about 13 weeks. It starts out like a little flutter but becomes stronger as the weeks go by. The ultrasound is amazing when you see your baby moving but you can't feel it!

I'm 21 weeks now and she just started to kick it up a notch and is really starting to move a lot more.

That first little flutter feeling was about 12 weeks for me. And I hated it. I knew what it was, and the fact that my baby was moving around was great, but the feeling made me nauseous. Once the baby started really kicking and turning around, it didn't bother me anymore.

I can't remember exactly when I felt my baby move, those first movements are so subtle, but I do know that after a while she got very rambunctious in there. It was such a great feeling to feel her moving inside me.

Unhappy Re: When did u feel your baby move for the first time?

Wow, sounds like some of your babies were pretty active early on. I doubt I really remember the "first" time because I had stomach aches and rumbly tummy a lot after I ate. It was kinda weird though cause before I could eat anything and it didn't affect me.
