Unique Baby Names
I don't know about the rest of you, but I would like to give my children unique names. I would like to give them a name that sticks out, a name that people will remember.
Here's a link...

Also, if you have any unique names please post

Re: Unique Baby Names
I can't agree with you more. I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to think of a unique name for my kids. We did a pretty good job with my son, Jessen, but my daughter we named Kayden just to find out there are at least 3 or 4 around here already. It wouldn't be so bad, but we live in a small community. Oh well, what can you do.

Re: Unique Baby Names
With so many people and celebraties out there wanting to stick out from all the rest the baby name game has become quite competative. But some people go overboard, in my opinion, and try too hard to get creative with their baby's name. I chose a classic, strong name, Maximilian, for my son. Any variation from that like Maximus, Maxim, or Maxine for a girl are good names too. Classic names never go out of style.

Re: Unique Baby Names
I can't imagine Donna being considered exotic really - that's pretty normal to me.
My eldes son is named Elric, and my youngest was named Aiden BEFORE whole crowds of people were naming their kids Aiden. I hate that it is so trendy now.

Re: Unique Baby Names
I think we did pretty well with my eldest daughter. Her name is Delia and we call her Didi. My youngest is Caroline, which isn't terribly uncommon, but I do think it's a bit different and I like that fact.
