Default Long distance grandparenting

My son had grandparents that lived about 1500 miles away from us for a period of time. I was worrid that they were not going to be close, but I was wrong! His grandparents made sure they called a lot and sent cards and letters and such through the mail. Sounds simple, but it's realy worked and my son was just as close to them as he was to the ones that were right "in town".

That is a good thing! It is nice to have children who are thoughtful to their grandparents. You are lucky with your kids

Yes, we are blessed with Abe. One of the funnest things for him to do was get those hallmark cards that record a message and send that. My mom actually kept them all and now we have this recorded history of Abe working hsi way through I love you and happy holidays, etc. It's really great to open up the china cupboard and take a listen to history!
