Question Any suggestions how to lighten stretch marks?

Like a lot of moms I have stretch marks . Has anyone found something that has worked for them to lighten the marks? Mine are on my lower abdomen only, but they look so terrible if I get any kind of tan at all. Any ideas?

First of all, god love you for exposing that part to even try to get a tan! My stretch mark area has never seen natural sunlight, however......cocoa butter worked well on my stretch marks and a girlfriend of mine used the "udder cream" on the market now and that worked well for her. Good luck and no matter what, enjoy the sunshine!

LOL, I don't expose that part, but I visit the tanning booth a little so I'm not a ghost and so I don't fry when I do decide to go in the sun .

Vitamin E is supposed to be very good for healing skin and reducing scar marks and stretch marks. You can buy the concentrated oil at most health food stores.

Time. That's pretty much all I can recommend. My stretch marks have faded and even virtually disappeared in some places now that I'm 6 years out from my last pregnancy. The scars of motherhood....

The scars of motherhood is an evidence of the mother's unequalled love for her child... but sometimes our vanity dictates that we still want to look good and erase this mark...

I'm all for the "not showing this area". Let's go back to the time when pale was beautiful and showing skin was indecent. Who's with me?
