Cool newly single mother

I am a newly single mother of 4 expecting my fifth. This is a joyous occasion as well as a sad one. After 13 years of marriage my husband walked out on me for a 21 year old chick and a week later is when I found out I was pregnant with our fifth. The stress in the very beginning of the pregnancy was causing me to bleed. I went to the hospital and had an ultrasound and they told me there was a hemorrhage where the placenta meets the uterine wall. Since moving back to my home state with my parents and letting the majority of the stress go, I have stopped bleeding. Due to my husband not cooperating, I have not yet been approved for medicaid so I haven't been to a doctor yet. I am just turning 11 weeks now and I am not really worried but I sure would like to get to a Dr to make sure everything is ok. What is weird to me though is the fact that my stomach seems to be getting fatter but I am not gaining any weight and I know that the baby is only the size of a grape, so why the fat belly?

Smile Re: newly single mother

Wow! I commend you for not getting an abortion and still having the courage to still go on. I can't believe the nerve of your husband to leave you with four kids. I would advise you to get medical treatment as soon as posible just to make sure everything is going o.k. with the baby. I'm 51/2 months pregnant and now a days they have so many test that they have the mother take. Just take care and may God bless you!
