Default Do you have lots of baby gear?

My sister's baby has every bit of baby gear known to man, from various play mats to bouncy stations, bouncy chairs, swings, exersaucers, bumbos, I mean the works. I have one big playmat, one small one that plays music, a bouncy chair, and an exersaucer. I'm fine with what I have. Do you have a lot of gear?

We have a walker, a playmat, a swing, and HAD a bouncer that he is now to heavy to sit in anymore. Other than that we have regular toys he plays with and his highchair. I did just recently get one of those grocery cart covers though, that was a great investment as it has little areas where I can clip toys, and it keeps Alex entertained for hours.

I never had much gear. We did have a swing, but only because it was given to us, as was a bouncy chair - which is a must have in my opinion. Play mat? We used a blanket on the floor and put some of his toys down. What is a play mat?

No - I had a mionimum of stuff, but we had a very small house, wo I was adamant of not filling it with stuff. Hardest thing was to get people to not kee buying us stuff.

A playmat or "play gym" is something that lays on the floor and has toys that dangle down over the baby for them to grab and kick at.

I don't think I have a lot of stuff either. We did well with a travel swing, bouncy chair, intellitainer and I think that was about it. Now that she's one, all that stuff's gone and we just have her Incrediblock and toys.

I love our travel swing! Half the size of a "real" swing and easy to move around the house!

Amy - I hear you about people wanting to buy you a lot of stuff. We lived in a tiny apartment (the baby swing took up the whole living room floor) and people would keep buying things. I thanked them and told them to take it back.
