Default Feeding schedules?

I'm going to start my 4 1/2 month old on cereal tonight. I forget how to do this. Should I just give her cereal once a day for like two weeks, and then gradually progress until she's eating three meals a day?

You can also do that but that time we started feeding cereals with our baby was that we really got him eating it for 3 meals in a day and it was alright for as long as he liked eating it.

Our son went to the three meals a day, however we supplemented with a lot of snacks. He are very healthy and full meals, but had frequent growth spurts and needed more than we did at times it seems.

Hmm. Maybe I'll go ahead and start feeding her two times a day then. Luckily my toddler likes to help.

It's amazing how quickly we forget these things. "What did we do with the others?" It's a question that my husband asks me about once a week. (There is a seven year difference to our newest addition) I stressed about giving my son cereal for about two days and they I relaxed. There are no allergies in our families, so I don't worry that much about the how's and when's.
