Default Stroller models

Wow - strollers today are like mini cars! I thought the cup holder and little storage compartment were as far as they were going to go. Saw one at the mall yesterday with a little stereo system built in. Isn't this getting a little extreme for a stroller?

Absolutely. A stroller should be a seat, a canopy and wheels. A stereo system for a stroller? That is insane.

What is this, pimp my stroller?

We did get a Graco travel system, which included the stroller, a snap in carrier, and a car seat base. It didn't have a stereo though, that's a bit extreme! In the end, my son grew so long so fast that we only ended up using the thing for about three months. Then we ended up buying a convertible car seat and a smaller stroller anyway!

I do have to say I really like the new models available though for the double strollers, the ones that will hold a toddler AND a baby. Those are pretty neat.

Those sit and stand strollers? We had one of those and they are great - easier to manuever than a real double stroller too (its amazing how many people will not even hold a door for a woman with 2 babies and a giant stroller).

We started out with one of the ones you were talking about - the car seat/carrier/ stroller jobs - those are pretty standard and really easy to use I think. Then we switched to straight double stroller, then went to the sit and stand one. My guys are just 1 year apart.

We bought the Eddie Bauer Travel System. We like it but it is big and heavy. I have a hard time getting it into the box of our truck...though I am really short and our truck is huge too. Go big or go home I guess.

I love my Maclaren. It is expensive, but it manuevers so nicely. It's awesome.

I have never seen a stroller with a stereo system in it, and I agree that is going a little overboard, does a baby really need their own personal attached stereo system on the go?

All I need is a cup holder. Which unfortunately my double stroller lacks. My single stroller can tell me the time and temp.
