I would have sworn I gave my other children whole milk when they stopped breast feeding, but mt husband says no. When did you start on milk?

Milk is generally started as ou wean the baby frofm breastmilk (or formula for that matter). SOmetimes it can be tough to make a full transition, so I went throgh a two week period of mixing both until I eventually went to complete milk.

I gave my children milk right after they stopped with formula (couldn't breastfeed due to medical reasons). What would you give them instead?

My dr. told me that about a year is when you can slowly start with whole milk. That's when I did it with both my kids and they are fine .

My daughter just turned one and my doctor told me I could start her on whole milk anytime. Right now, I am in the process of mixing her milk and formula and she's doing well so far.
