Do you guys have a favorite brand of diapers? I find that Huggies work the best for Alex, especially overnight.

As crazy as it sounds, I have always used the Walmart brand of diapers (Dri Bottoms I think). They are about half the price of the name-brand ones and I found that they worked really rather well. And one of the big brands made my youngest break out something awful.

I've talked about this subject with a few other mothers and this is what we came up with. Each baby and diaper seem to be different. For me I like luvs they worked well and smelled good and weren't too expensive. The cheap walmart ones didn't work for my kids, but do work very well for some. Other moms told me that their babies had lots of leaks with Luvs. So each child seems to have different diapers that work for them. I would try a few different kinds and see which works best for you and your baby.

My brand was Huggies. It's what they used when my son was in the NICU. I just kept on buying them when he came home. They were a good fit and I was very happy with them.

It is really strange to think that 'bathroom activities' can differ so much from baby to baby, isn't it? But what jaescafe said is SO true... you have to experiment to get to the right diaper sometimes.

Glad to know I got my point across and someone else agrees. It is weird to think about babies "bathroom activity" as you said melos can differ so much. Trial and error is the answer.

I LOVE Wal-Mart's White Cloud diapers. I can't stand Pampers because they smell bad to me. And I'm also very frugal. White Cloud has such great quality and the price is totally right!

I'm a Huggies gal myself. I love the stretch they have in the fasteners, and they absorb extremely well. I've tried the pampers (had a big coupon) and some of the other less expensive before, but I always end up back at Huggies.

I have tried Huggies, Luvs and Pampers. The Luvs leaked the first two times I used them, the Huggies leaked overnight and just didn't seem to fit right (unless they were the Supremes). I like the Pampers the best, unfortunately (because of cost), the Swaddlers and the Cruisers seem to be the best for me though.

Pampers is widely used in our place and I also vote for Pampers. Cost is not important, as long as the diapers serve its purpose well.
