When I weaned my baby from breastfeeding, I had to let him go to the province for a few days while I suffer from the effects of it. My breasts felt sore and very painful, I almost chilled and got fever.

What were your experiences during the weaning period? How did you go about with it? Was it easy for you and your baby to do it?

My first daughter weaned herself at 9 months. She just wasn't interested in nursing anymore. I wasn't ready to give it up but I didn't want to continue is we both no longer enjoyed it. I bound my breasts for two days. They were sore but that's about it.
