Default Maternity Checklist

First Trimester
Low rise pants are ideals for this stage of pregnancy and will take you well into second trimester. Now and after pants are a good investment because you can also wear them after you have the baby. New bras and panties are a must as your cup size has probably changed significantly and your tummy is growing. Snug fitting clothing looks great at this stage.

2 bras
3 panties
1 pair of jeans (banded or now and after)
2 pairs of pants (casual and dressy)
1 blouse
2 t-shirts
2 fashion tops
1 sweater
skin care system

Second Trimester
For most women the second trimester is the best stage of pregnancy! You are radiantly pregnant and are starting to feel energized. Comfort and showing off your great silhouette are the primary focus. The need for maternity clothing is now undeniable. Many of these purchases will take you through to the end of the pregnancy. Look for soft fabrics and clothing with lots of stretch.

2 T-shirts
1 pair of jeans
1 pair of dressy pants
1 pair of casual pants
1 blouse
1 sweater (tunnel or now and after)
2 fashion tops
1 loungewear set(can be worn after)
1 set of maternity sleepwear( can be worn after)
3 pairs of panties
Maternity shower gel

Third Trimester
It’s almost time for the baby! You can’t sleep well and are very anxious to see your new little one. Be good to yourself and make sure you are comfortable. Start to think about what you need for the hospital and what you need to get you through the last few weeks of pregnancy.

1 pair of classic rise pants
1 pair of knit pants
1 blouse
1 sweater
1 mommy and baby sleep set

If you are planning to nurse:

2 nursing top
1 nursing sleepwear
2 nursing bras
Maternity nipple ointment and nursing pads

Talking Re: Maternity Checklist

Those are quite some lists you got there. I think you have everything covered! I try to find the most comfortable pants in the first trimester that I can hopefully wear in the second. I do find tight stretchy clothes are really comfortable. It seems like looser fitting clothes get all caught up and starts to feel sticky especially since it's been really hot this summer.

I found just the opposite - I didn't want anythign clingy on me at all. Loose and comfy clothing was the order of the day. TIght clothes made me feel like a sausage!

I agree with Amy here. Tight-fitting clothes make me feel much hotter than loose clothing. I also don't like the look of a pregnant woman in a skin tight shirt and low rise pants with her belly hanging out - in my opinion, it looks not classy.
Good lists, though everyone will have different needs.

Wow, that's some list! I, on the other hand, wore the same few comfy outfits throughout my pregnancy--I'm just didn't feel like being fashion-conscious with a 'bowling ball' in my belly. Plus, I needed that clothing money for my food cravings, lol.
