Aspirus Breast Health Initiative Jumpstarted by Komen Grant

Through a grant funded largely by Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Central Wisconsin Affiliate, Aspirus Women's Health is employing a mobile imaging unit to provide breast cancer screenings and education to underserved areas, including Native American communities in north and central Wisconsin. The screenings can help women detect breast cancer early, which greatly increases survival rates. (PRWeb Apr 28, 2008)
