that site was way too funny!

When I was little I always wondered why my mom always said those things. When I got a little older I told myself that I would never say those things. My mom always told me that I would do the same things as she did. I guess we'll wait and find out. My fav one has to be "Because I said so!" I'm probably going to have to use that one a few times.

I believe in that you would do the same things that your Mom have done.
I never thought that I would be doing the things that I didn't like my Mom doing.
Unconsciously, it reappears on your mind and before you know it, there - you sound and act like your Mom and then you realize why it was so

Yes, I to say things my mom said that I said I'd never say. There are a few things though I do NOT do or say that my mom did, that I felt made me feel inferior or feel like my opinion did not matter. No matter what way you look at it parenting is hard and we do the best we can, so I come to understand my parents behavior. They love us and that's all that matters in the end.

THis listing was funny. THe only thing my mom ever said to me that I've tried to NOT repeat is "Humor me...." I always knew that it meant that she was definately going to get her way and I was going to "lose".

That is kind of funny Amy. I bet that sure made you mad or irritated. I guess it would have made me that way. I was a little rebellious and that would have drove me crazy lol.

That is really funny! And I think it is true that you end up saying things your mother said in a lot of instances. I do! My Mom was born and raised in Brooklyn, and when she got mad her Brooklyn would come out (she'd get the accent). I've never lived in Brooklyn, but when I get mad, I take on a bit of a Brooklyn accent too. Its funny.
