She could talk to her doctor about a tubal reversal. It doesn't always work, and the longer you've had your tubes tied the less likely it is to work.

Re: Get pregnant off someone else?
I would discuss the reversal with a doctor first. If that doesn't work, she can consider using a surrogate mother (this doesn't mean that her new husband has to sleep with someone else, they usually use artificial insemination), though if it were me, adoption would be a much easier emotional journey.

Re: Get pregnant off someone else?
I have a close friend who had her tubal reversed with wonderful results. She and her new husband have a happy and healthy 3 month old girl. Surragacy is an option, although one I could never go for.
My personal decision would be to adopt.

I would also go for adoption but I like to make sure that the baby comes from a good family background, say, a child of a relative of mine or my husband, wherein we really know the parents. However, most of the time, this can't happen as most of them don't want their babies away from them.

Re: Get pregnant off someone else?
I'm not sure how much it costs, however, I don't think your insurance would cover that, as they only cover medical costs for the insured, the surrogate would have to have their own coverage. However, it may differ from policy to policy so it would be best to check with the agent.

Re: Get pregnant off someone else?
I believe that adoption would be a very viable option. Tubals can be reversed and surrogacy is an issue, but hey, there's a lot of children out there that need loving homes.
